As mentioned, I've taken all my work down from Bandcamp, it will no longer be available there... the reason: Bandcamp, overnight deleted the Rodent Tapes site, no reason was given, no reply to emails... other than an automatic one stating the email had been seen, but not to worry some humanoid would be in contact.. no such thing happened, and from the little research online I did... it's unlikely to happen, this same thing has happened to a fair few other artists... as far as I'm concerned deleting any art, whether you like it or not, is akin to the Nazi's burning of books... so.. I've lost years of material, going all the way back to the 80's... Then I'm told that Bandcamp is no longer Bandcamp but in truth we've been sold like slaves in a digital slave market to Epic Games, news to me... but the thing is this, Bandcamp was what it was/is because of the art we upload .. in and of itself it's nothing but an app/platform, worthless, has no value, we give it it's value, like all of these places, Youtube, Facebook, Instragram, Twitter, etc etc.. they have no value, they're also not unique, what they offer can be done on the internet without them, was done on the internet without them years ago before all these Corporations reared their treacherous souls... Anyway... Bandcamp, can take it's Friday, and .. well you know... My work will though be available in a place of learning, where it can be used by researchers, students, and artists... (still being catalogued etc etc.. so more on that later) for now.. I will be adding the odd bits on youtube, and I'm sure most of you are privy on how to download for free from them.. then a number of compilations will be on a few labels... made up of tracks taken from stuff done over the years.. other than that... I'm out of this mugs game of feeding this Corporate Greed Machine... which has enriched these people beyond there wildest dreams, they should be worshiping the digital waves we surf on... them are the Terms of Service..
